The Kreuzkapelle in Nordheim am Main is a small church in the vicinity of the Franconian wine village. It is located on Kapellenweg on the edge of the Kreuzberg vineyard.

history

The chapel was built in 1894 by the Göpfert siblings. From 1933 the Borst family took care of the church. This year Maria Borst rebuilt the chapel. In 1971 it was mated by Reinhold Borst. The year 1997 brought an interior renovation . The Bavarian State Office for the Preservation of Monuments classifies the church as a monument under the number D-6-75-155-34.

architecture

The Kreuzkapelle presents itself as a stone building with a polygonal choir closure. It has a pointed arched window on both sides. The door also has a pointed arch . Inside is a Lourdes Madonna surrounded by Saints Conrad and Antonius .
