The Drewitz war memorial is a listed war memorial in the village of Drewitz in the city of Möckern in Saxony-Anhalt . In the local register of monuments , the war memorial is listed as a monument under registration number 094 71369 .

location

The memorial is located directly south of the Drewitz village church . A little further to the east is the Drewitz rectory , which is also listed .

layout

The war memorial is a step pyramid. On the step pyramid is the actual memorial stone, this is crowned by a stone helmet under which a stone sword lies. On the memorial stone are the names of those who fell and one missing from the First World War. The entries are mostly sorted according to the date of death. The names of those who fell in World War II are on a plaque on the church wall.

On the south side there is the memorial inscription in an oval below the depiction of an iron cross :
