The Eisdorf war memorial is a listed war memorial in the Eisdorf district of the municipality of Teutschenthal in Saxony-Anhalt . In the local register of monuments , the war memorial is listed under registration number 094 55618 as an architectural monument .

The war memorial in Eisdorf is located on Eisdorfer Straße. The monument made of porphyry looks like a sacred obelisk . It was built in 1911 for those who fell in the Franco-Prussian War and was later expanded to accommodate those who fell in World War I and World War II . There are memorial plaques on all four sides and the obelisk is crowned by a cross. One of the memorial plaques contains an iron cross and the inscription memorial to commemoration . Another memorial plaque contains the inscription Dedicated to the fallen citizens of the municipality of Eisdorf in the Franco-German War 1870–1871, extended for the fallen from World War I and II . The other two memorial plaques contain the 119 names of those killed in the two world wars.
