Eisdorf was mentioned for the first time in a document from the Wimmelburg monastery in 1121. Eisdorf later came to the ore monastery of Magdeburg and was assigned to the Giebichenstein office in the Saalkreis . In 1680 Eisdorf came under Brandenburg-Prussian rule with the ore monastery of Magdeburg as the Duchy of Magdeburg . The part of Teutschenthal belonging to the Schraplau rule , which became Prussian in 1738/80, also came to the Prussian Duchy of Magdeburg, but remained in the County of Mansfeld with Prussian-Magdeburg shares.

During the French occupation of the Saalkreis (1807 to 1813) Eisdorf belonged to the Saale department in the Kingdom of Westphalia . It was assigned to the canton of Fienstedt in the Halle district . During the political reorganization after the Congress of Vienna in 1815, Eisdorf was attached to the Merseburg administrative district of the Prussian province of Saxony in 1816 and assigned to the Mansfeld Lake District .

On July 1, 1950, the place was incorporated into the Saalkreis and assigned to the municipality of Teutschenthal. The Vorwerk (Neu-) Vitzenburg (also: "Neu-Pfitzenburg") used to be east of Eisdorf . It belonged to the Bennstedt office in the Schraplau district of the Prussian-Magdeburg part of the Mansfeld county. Since the French occupation of the county of Mansfeld and the Prussian Saalkreis in 1807, Eisdorf and the Vorwerk have shared a story.
