Pimf (* 1993 in Hofgeismar ; bourgeois Jonas Kramski ) is a German rapper who is best known for his participation in the video battle tournament (VBT). After that he was initially under contract with the Heart Working Class label . At the beginning of 2016 he founded the label Lagunenstyles together with the rapper Kico .

His stage name is derived from the word Pimpf , as he was always the youngest among his friends.

life and career

Pimf comes from Hofgeismar near Kassel and began sporadically recording his first rap songs from 2006. Since 2010 he has dealt more intensively with rap and took part in the VBT for the first time. With his friend Kico, who is also rapping, he founded the KWU Connection . Both recorded songs together and made a name for themselves in the Kassel underground. When Pimf took part in the VBT for the second time in 2012, he beat Punch Arogunz and reached the semi-finals. As a result of his participation in the VBT Splash Edition 2013, Pimf first appeared at the Splash Festival in 2014 .

On June 19, 2015, Pimf's first solo album Memo , which also includes musicians Umse , Mortis and Damion Davis , was released on the Heart Working Class label . It was able to position itself at number 49 in the German charts for a week.

The EP Justus Jonas was released on February 3, 2017 , on which the rapper Weekend is also featured with a guest contribution. He is now making music under his own label, Lagunenstyles .
