Hämerten war memorial
The Hämerten war memorial is a listed war memorial in the Hämerten district of Tangermünde in Saxony-Anhalt . In the local register of monuments it is listed as a minor monument under registration number 094 76717 .
General
The war memorial in Hämerten is located on the street Am Meilenstein , formerly Dorfstraße, on the site of the local church . A memorial plaque in the form of a large tombstone is placed on a base made of field stones . On one side is an inscription and the names of those who fell in World War I carved. On the other side an engraved granite slab with an inscription and the names of those who fell in World War II was placed.
