Hohenthurm war memorial
The Hohenthurm war memorial is a listed war memorial in the Hohenthurm district of the city of Landsberg in Saxony-Anhalt . In the local register of monuments , the war memorial is listed under registration number 094 60949 as a monument .
The stele erected to commemorate the victims of the First World War in the two towns of Hohenthurm and Rosenfeld is decorated with a Christian cross in the upper area and the Iron Cross in the lower area . As an inscription in the stele are the names of the fallen, sorted according to the two places, and: The faithful dead honors / grateful homeland / Hohenthurm-Rosenfeld . The monument is located east of the castle and south of the church on the castle hill.
