The Kahlwinkel war memorial is a listed war memorial in the village of Kahlwinkel in the municipality of Finneland in Saxony-Anhalt . In the local register of monuments , the memorial stone is recorded as a monument under registration number 094 83894 .

The Kahlwinkel war memorial is located on Thomas-Müntzer-Straße, southeast of the village church. The war memorial consists of two parts. On the one hand, a rectangular stele made of hewn stones on a base. The stele is crowned by a steel helmet. It was built to commemorate the fallen of the First World War and contains the inscription For the fatherland died the heroic death as well as the names of the fallen. Next to the stele, a stone slab with the inscription Unseren Toten Männer, Fathern u. Brothers of the Kahlwinkel community commemorate 1939 - 1945. The dead admonish us here, too, the names of the fallen are included in the inscription.
