War memorial Möritzsch

The war memorial Möritzsch is a listed war memorial in the village of Möritzsch in the district of Kötschlitz of the city of Leuna in Saxony-Anhalt . The war memorial is listed as an architectural monument in the local monument register.

General

This war memorial is a memorial stone for the eight fallen soldiers of the First World War from Möritzsch with a plaque on the front. It was inaugurated on May 28, 1922, consists of shell limestone and stands next to the peace oak for those who died in the Franco-German War from 1870 to 1871. The war memorial has been a listed building since June 10, 2016.
