Reichenhain War Memorial
The Reichenhain war memorial is located in Reichenhain in southern Brandenburg , a district of the Röderland community . In the middle of the war memorial there is a stele made of red Main sandstone for the victims of the First World War with the names of the fallen residents of the place. Behind the stele are a little set back, to the right and left, two nameplates framed in red sandstone blocks for the Reichenhain soldiers who died in the Second World War . In July 2007, in the immediate vicinity of the war memorial, in the presence of Mayor Heiderose Hubrig, a memorial stone donated by the stonemasonry Hans-Peter and Frank Richter was inaugurated for those 5 residents who died after the Red Army marched into Reichenhain. In the run-up, extensive measures to beautify the memorial area took place, in which, among other things, the central stele was radiated and equipped with new granite steps.
