Reipisch war memorial
The Reipisch war memorial is a listed war memorial in the village of Reipisch in the Frankleben district of the city of Braunsbedra in Saxony-Anhalt . In the local register of monuments , the war memorial is listed under registration number 094 65802 as an architectural monument .
This war memorial is a stele that was erected to commemorate the six soldiers who died in the town during the First World War . It has stood on an open space in the village square since 1938; The sculptor Bielig ( Merseburg ) created it from porphyry rock . Because of the decay, the stonemason and stone sculptor Bartholomäus from Bad Lauchstädt restored it in 2014. Next to the stele is a memorial plaque for the 25 fallen soldiers of World War II .
