The Schönwalde war memorial is a listed war memorial in the Schönwalde district of the city of Tangerhütte in Saxony-Anhalt . In the local register of monuments it is listed as a monument under registration number 094 71477 .

General

The war memorial in Schönwalde is located on Schönwalder Dorfstrasse near the church . The original war memorial was erected for the fallen soldiers of the First World War . It is a stele that is crowned by an eagle and has a plaque attached to it. A memorial stone crowned by an iron cross was later erected next to it for the fallen soldiers of the Second World War .
