The Wallwitz war memorial is a listed war memorial in the Wallwitz district of the Petersberg community in Saxony-Anhalt . The war memorial is listed in the local monument register under registration number 094 55503 as a monument .

The war memorial in Wallwitz is located on the street Zum Denkmal . The memorial was erected to commemorate those who died in the First World War . It is in the monument is a stele from porphyry , topped by a soldier helmet and four iron crosses decorated. The iron cross on the west side is smaller than the other three. On the west side there is also the inscription. It reads Our loyal dead , it is followed by the names of the 17 fallen and continues with a Bible quote from Johannes Nobody has greater love than that that he gives his life for his friends .
