The warrior stele of Castrelo do Val ( Galician Estela do Guerreiro de Castrelo do Val or del Valle - also incorrectly known locally as the statue menhir of Pedra Alta) was built in 1970 in Castrelo do Val (also Castrelo del Valle) near the border with Portugal in the province Ourense ( Spanish Orense ) found in Galicia in Spain .

The unique Bronze Age (3200–2900 BC) granite menhir represents items of equipment of a person described as a belt, shield, sword and spear. A car pulled by an animal can be recognized. This is the oldest car representation in Galicia. The stele has nothing in common with a Lusitan warrior statue .

Similar steles are the Carmona stele , the Telhado stele and the Zebros stele .

In 1972 the much younger rectangular Estela da Abóbada with southwest script and a picture was found in Gomes Aires, near Almodôvar in the south of Portugal, which is also called Estela do Guerreiro by its generic name.
