War Mountain Tower
The Kriegsbergturm in the Stuttgart district of Relenberg in the Stuttgart-Nord district is a building commissioner Carl Weigle designed in 1895 for the Verschönerungsverein Stuttgart e. V. built a lookout tower on the 353 meter high Kriegsberg .
In 1985 the tower was restored with the help of donations from Stuttgart citizens as well as the city of Stuttgart and the Baden-Württemberg State Monuments Office .
The terrace with the observation tower is located approx. 500 m north of the Katharinen Hospital on Eduard-Pfeiffer-Straße. The tower itself is only open on special occasions.
The Kriegsbergturm was named " Monument of the Month January 2019" by the Baden-Württemberg Monument Foundation.
