Criminal Police Inspections with central tasks ( KPI / Z ) are departments of the Bavarian Police with special tasks.

A KPI / Z exists at 8 out of 10 police headquarters of the Bavarian Police, with the exception of the Central Franconian police headquarters and the Munich police headquarters . There these tasks are performed by the local criminal police . The KPI / Z deals with the fight against serious and organized crime . In addition, it carries out all operational investigations in the police state security in the entire administrative district. Other original tasks are data analysis, financial investigations and asset recovery. The detectives also have various specialists such as B. White collar criminals available.
