Kristall Elektrostal ( Russian Кристалл Электросталь ) is an ice hockey club in the Russian city of Elektrostal . The team plays in the third class Pervaya League .
history
The association was founded in 1949 as Chimik Elektrostal. Kristall competed twelve times in the elite class of the Soviet Union from 1952 to 1964. Otherwise the club was second or third class.
After the collapse of the Soviet Union , the team played five seasons from 1994/95 to 1997/98 and 1999/2000 in the Russian top division . From 2000/01 to the 2008/09 season, the club was based in the second-rate Wysschaja Liga . Since the 2009/10 season, Kristall Elektrostal has been playing in the third-rate Perwaja League .
