The language Krobu (ISO 639-3: kxb; also krobou ) is a language from the language group of the Kwa languages , which is spoken by a total of 9,920 people in four localities in the prefecture of Agboville in the Ivory Coast .
Krobu belongs to the larger group of Tano languages within the Niger-Congo language family . The ethnic group that speaks this language are the Krob or Krobu, and many of them also speak the Baule and Abe languages . Recently, however, many of them only speak French, the only official language of the Ivory Coast, as their mother tongue.
