Krzysztof Smorszczewski

Krzysztof Smorszczewski (born May 26, 1963 in Białystok ) is a Polish athlete . He trains at Start Białystok .

Life

At the age of 24, Smorszczewski lost his legs in a train accident.

At the Summer Paralympics 2000 he was able to set a new world record in the shot put with 11.49 meters and win the gold medal. Even at the 2004 Summer Paralympics , Smorszczewski was able to achieve first place. At the 2008 Summer Paralympics , he took silver in the F55 / 56 class in the shot put.
