Krzysztof Szargiej

Krzysztof Szargiej [ ˈkʃɨʃtɔf ˈʃarɡʲɛj ] (* 1963 ) is a former Polish handball player and today's handball trainer .

With NATA Danzig he was Polish champion several times. As a player at TUSEM Essen , he was twice German champion , twice cup and twice European cup winner . As an assistant coach under Yuri Schewzow , he repeated the European Cup success in 2005.

He played 55 times for the Polish national handball team .

Krzysztof Szargiej holds the Trainer A license, is married and has three daughters.

Since the end of 2006 he has coached the team of the western regional league club VfL Eintracht Hagen. On January 22nd, 2008, TUSEM Essen announced that Szargiej will take over the coaching position with immediate effect.
