Kuşkonar is an abandoned village in the central district of the Turkish province of Şırnak . The original Kurdish place name was Gever.

On March 26, 1994, the village was attacked by the Turkish Air Force . 25 villagers died. The survivors put their dead in plastic bags, buried them in a mass grave in the immediate vicinity and gave up the village. According to the Diyabakır public prosecutor's office, the mass grave is to be opened (as of January 2013). The death of the 25 people had not yet been registered in the population register at the end of 2013.

In 2013, the relatives of the victims and the victims were awarded compensation by the European Court of Human Rights .
