Cubic field rod

The cubic field rod was a German volume measure in Frankfurt am Main . The base on which the foot is based , also called Werkschuh or just Schuh, was divided duodecimally and had a length of 0.28461 meters with 126 1/6 Parisian lines .

  • 1 cubic field rod = 12 ½ work shoe times 12 ½ work shoe times 12 ½ work shoe = 45.028 cubic meters
