Ball pool
As ball pit (colloquially Bällebad , ball bath , balls pool , balls pool or balls paradise ) refers to a padded basin with hollow spheres of plastic material is filled. The plastic balls are usually in varieties of two or more different colors in order to create a colorful overall impression. Children can jump around wildly in a ball pool with practically no risk of injury, "dive into" and rummage through. In technology , a ball bath with steel balls is used to establish electrical contact from all sides. It is z. B. used for high voltage tests to test the insulation of test objects. The connection of the test item is subjected to high voltage (HV +) and the ball pool is connected to ground (HV-). A ball bath is used where a water bath cannot / should not be used due to the technical properties of the test object.
