history
Numerous ball mills stood by the Teufelsgraben creek until 1806. The stone balls were mostly produced as ballast for ships and as projectiles for a crossbow to a cannon.
Today's ball mill was rebuilt on the site of a former mill on the initiative of the landowner Hermann Rosenstatter senior in 1983. The mill building under a gable roof has a large barred opening on the main front for viewing.
