Kujō Michiie
Kujō Michiie ( Japanese 九 条 道家 ; * 1193 ; † 1252 ), also Fujiwara no Michiie ( 藤原 道家 ), was Kampaku and the father of the shogun Kujō Yoritsune .
He was a grandson of Kujō Kanezane (also known as Fujiwara no Kanezane ).
The Kujō support the Kitano shrine . In 1219 Kujō Michiie donated the "Kitano Tenjin Engi Emaki" scroll (an illustrated scroll of the history of the Kitano shrine) to the shrine. In 1223 an enlarged version was given to the shrine.
In 1226 Michiie managed to use his son Yoritsune as the 4th Shogun of the Kamakura Shogunate , although the actual power was still with the Hōjō rulers.
