The Kulik Lake is a lake in Yukon-Kuskokwim Delta in western Alaska .
Located at an altitude of 17 m , Kulik Lake is located in the Yukon Delta National Wildlife Refuge . The lake is 34 km east-southeast of Russian Mission . It is part of a group of lakes that stretches between the courses of the Yukon River and the Kuskokwim River . The lake has an oval shape and covers an area of 18.5 km². Its maximum length in west-east direction is 6.4 km, its width 3.6 km. Kulik Lake is drained to the Kuskokwim River via the Johnson River . The Yukon-Kuskokwim Portage , a land link between the Yukon River and Kuskokwim River, runs along the western shore of the lake and connects Russian Mission with Upper Kalskag .
