The Kummakivi is a large balancing rock in Ruokolahti , Finland . The seven meter long boulder lies with a very small base on a convex underground.

The Kummakivi ( "strange stone" ) has been protected since 1962. A pine tree has been growing on it since the 1980s.

The boulder is located in a forest in the western part of Ruokolahti, near the border with Puumala .
