Art collection of the Ducal Georgianum
The art collection of the Ducal Georgianum belongs to the Ducal Georgianum , a seminary in Munich . The focus of the collection (approx. 600 objects, approx. 300 of which are on display) are sculptures from the late Gothic period , paintings and liturgical implements from the Romanesque period to the 19th century.
The works of art have been exhibited on the mezzanine floor on Ludwigstrasse since 1986 and can be viewed by students of the Georgianum as well as by small groups (by telephone arrangement).
