Kunststoff is a culture magazine from central Germany, which is published and distributed by Plöttner Verlag in Leipzig . In addition to the print edition, an online version is published. The name plastic stands as a play on words for an unorthodox approach to art.

The first issue appeared as "Issue 0" in October 2005. After a break, the magazine has appeared again since July 2009.

The quarterly print edition covers the areas of theater, literature, visual arts, music, lifestyle and film in German-speaking countries. In addition to these topics, the magazine offers reviews and information on events such as readings and concerts. On the homepage of Kunststoff, in addition to selected articles from the print edition, you can also find an event calendar and a marketplace.

Plastic was also the name of the magazine Kunststoff - Kulturmagazin für Trier, Luxemburg, Saarbrücken , which was published from 1980 to 1986 by the Verein für Kulturarbeit Trier in Trier.
