Copper slip
As copper list ( Swedish kopparsedlar ) is referred to in the legal and economic history of Sweden a historic currency from the copper of the mines of Falun .

Copper notes (= plates made of raw copper ) were issued in exchange for trade goods in the mining towns of Falun and Västerås . They could not be legally resold directly by the owner. The copper notes could only be exchanged according to their metal weight in Avesta , where Sweden's most important mint was located. The difference included the state tax of one fifth of the value.
The copper notes were in use in Sweden from the 17th century and only officially abolished at the end of 1857.

The Economic Encyclopedia (1773-1858) founded by Johann Georg Krünitz writes:
- "Copper = note is understood to mean that copper which is sent from the pale and Westerasian copper = works, and from which the duty for the king was withheld before it came to Stockholm."
