Cure (demon)

In Sumerian mythology , Kur is a monstrous demon .

Kur personifies the realm of the dead , hell , the course of the river of the dead (see also Styx ) and the empty space without hope between Abzu , the primeval lake or primeval soup and Ma , the earth.
