Kurt Ansperger

Kurt Ansperger (born September 11, 1955 in Graz ) is a former Austrian kickboxer specializing in semicontact. With 13 titles as Austrian national champion, he is one of the most successful semi-contact kickboxers in the country.

Ansperger celebrated his greatest success on April 27, 1980, when he became European semi-contact champion in the weight category over 84 kilograms at the 4th WAKO European Championships in London . Previously, he had reached fourth place on November 4, 1979 at the 2nd WAKO World Championships held in Tampa .

In 1993 he received the medal of honor as part of the sport of Styria.

Ansperger currently lives in Graz and works there as a trainer.
