Kurt Fordan
Kurt Fordan (born November 27, 1917 - † July 11, 2012 ) was a German textile entrepreneur .
Career
Fordan was the founder and owner of a company for women's clothing in Munich. As deputy chairman, he was a member of the management of the Association of the German Women's Apparel Industry. V.
He was a co-founder of the FDP in Bavaria and in the federal government and for 20 years treasurer of the Bavarian state association of the party. He was chairman of the FDP city association in Munich for ten years.
In 1998 he founded the Kurt Fordan Friends' Association for Outstanding Abilities. V. , which supports young people with a career goal at the switching points in the fields of business or politics through scholarships. In addition, the Friends' Association, together with the Institute for Production Management and Controlling at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich, awards the Kurt Fordan Diploma Thesis Prize.
