Kurt Marti (journalist)

Kurt Marti (born July 23, 1960 in Sursee ) is a Swiss journalist . In 2013 he received the audience award of the Prix ​​Courage .

Life

Marti studied philosophy and physics (lic. Phil.) And graduated from the Ringier School of Journalism . From 1994 to 1996 he was managing director of the Swiss Energy Foundation, SES . From 2000 to 2010 he was editor of the Walliser opposition newspaper Rote Anneliese . During this time he uncovered stories and scandals that were not mentioned in other Upper Valais media.

He has been working as a freelance journalist since 1996. He is a member of the editorial board of the Internet newspaper Infosperber . Marti is married and has two sons, he lives and works in Brig-Glis .
