Kurt Oskar Buchner

Kurt Oskar Buchner (born May 21, 1912 ; † 1994 ; actually Kurt Oskar Schmidt ) was a German lyric poet, author of books for young people and children .

After the Second World War, Kurt Oskar Schmidt and his family found a place to stay on the Marie Luisenhof estate, which is located near Gifhorn between Gamsen and Wilsche . He lived in Gifhorn-Winkel until his death and taught German at the Otto Hahn Gymnasium in Gifhorn until 1977 . In the 1950s he had contact with the writers Will Vesper and Bernward Vesper, who were also located near Gifhorn . The latter was a student at the Otto Hahn Gymnasium. Buchner appears in Bernward Vesper's work Die Reise .

In the Schiller year 1955, Buchner published the brochure for the youth of Friedrich von Schiller, which vividly describes the work and life of Schiller, the strictly formed Schiller novella Burg der Freiheit, which appeared in Carl Heinz Kurz 's book Literary Biographies .
