Kurt R. Keydel

Kurt Rudolf Keydel (born October 3, 1904 , † June 8, 1990 ) was a German-American businessman and publisher.

Career

Keydel came from a respected family in the German-speaking community in Detroit . He was President of Kay Products Comp. Together with his brother Oscar, he saved the German-language daily Detroiter Abend-Post from financial ruin in 1938 and subsequently remained its editor for many years.

He was Vice President of the German-American Club and from 1969 to 1980 a member of the Advisory Board of Wayne State University .
