Kurt Reding

Kurt Reding (born August 14, 1944 in Koblenz ) is a Luxembourg economist and finance scientist.

Professional background

After studying economics at the University of Cologne and obtaining his doctorate from the Philipps University in Marburg in 1972, Reding was a research assistant and university lecturer before he was appointed full professor in 1982 . He was professor of finance and head of the finance department in the economics course at the University of Kassel . Reding is also director of the Institute for Communication Marketing and Systems Analysis, appraiser for the taxpayers' association and founding member of theRoland Berger Academic Network .

Vice Rector of eufom University

From the founding of the eufom University (European University for Economics & Management) based in Luxembourg in February 2012 to autumn 2016, Kurt Reding was Vice-Rector for Teaching and Quality Management at the private, state-recognized university.

Kurt Reding's research deals with strategic financial thinking and the paradigm shift to strategic corporate finance . Another focus of his research activities focuses on the measurement, evaluation and control and thus on the efficiency of strategic trade of the state as well as the economy.
