Short circuit (ARTE)

KurzSchluss (fr .: Court-circuit ) is a program by the Franco-German broadcaster ARTE about short films .

This short film magazine presents works from the short film scene every week. Mainly new films are shown, but occasionally classics of the genre as well . The program is supplemented by interviews , making-ofs and film interpretations.

Sometimes an entire issue is put under one topic, for example films from a specific short film festival or from a specific director, whose work is given an overview.

The program cannot be received via the Internet, but selected films can be played online.

The first edition aired on November 19, 2001.
