Kvint (short for Russian К оньяки, в ина и н апитки Т ирасполя / Konjaki, wina i napitki Tiraspolja, in German for "Cognacs, wines and beverages Tiraspols") is a wine and spirits manufacturer based in Tiraspol. The company is particularly known for its internationally successful brandy . One of the company's buildings can be seen on the five-ruble note of the Transnistrian ruble .

The company was founded in 1897 and is therefore one of the oldest commercial enterprises in the region that still exists today. The annual production of alcoholic beverages is around ten million liters. The factory's production and working process is in line with western standards. Kvint was able to secure the ISO certificates 9001-94 in 2000 and ISO 9001-2000 in 2003. In addition, the manufacturer is one of the few spirits producers based in the former Soviet Union that works kosher .

In 2006 the company was bought by the Sheriff concern , which is also based in Transnistria , but will continue to be run as an independent subsidiary.

The main product is brandy . The manufacturer also bottles wine and also produces several of its own types of vodka . Kvint is considered to be one of the largest exporters in Transnistria.
