Kwan Ga-ya (* 1966 in Gyeongsang-do ) is a South Korean cartoonist .
He published his first work as a professional draftsman in 1995 with the first episode of his Sun and Moon series , on which he worked until 1997. The series was also published in five books, with a later reprint summarizing the comic in three books. This Manhwa is an action drama with many fight scenes, set in a historical Korea.
This was followed by the series Namja Iyagi for Young Jump ( 영점프 ) magazine from 1998 to 2002 , which was also published in ten books by Seoul Cultural Publishing . This comic is set in a near future in a ruined city where some kind of electronic life has replaced people. In 2000 the series Pungun nama appeared in the magazine Cocomics ( 코코 믹스 ) , later this was published in two anthologies. From 2002 to 2004, Kwan finally worked on the five volumes of Purun kil .
Kwan's work is translated into French and German.
