Kwang Lee

Kwang Lee (* 1970 in Seoul ) is an artist , a graduate of the Düsseldorf Art Academy and a master class student of Markus Lüpertz . She exhibited in Paris , South Korea and her adopted home Berlin , among others .

Life

Kwang Lee graduated from the Fine Art Faculty of Hongik University from 1991 to 1996 with a degree in painting. From 1996 to 1998 she directed the private art school "Hong-IK Art School" in Seoul. In 1999 she moved to Düsseldorf and finally in 2000 she was admitted to the Düsseldorf Art Academy, where she was Markus Lüpertz's assistant from 2003 to 2006 and then also his master class student. In 2007 she moved to Berlin.
