Kyōko Yano ( Japanese 矢野 喬 子 , Yano Kyōko ; born June 3, 1984 in Kanagawa Prefecture ) is a Japanese soccer player .

Club career

Yano played from 2003 to 2007 for the University of Kanagawa (graduated from the business administration faculty), since 2007 she has played with Urawa Red Diamonds Ladies in the highest Japanese league.

National team

Yano scored her first and only goal for the Japanese national team on June 11, 2003 against Guam . She played two games in the 4th Women's World Cup in 2003 and one game in the 5th Women's World Cup in 2007 . Yano was in the team at the 6th Women's World Cup in Germany in 2011 , she didn't play.

Yano was also part of the Japanese squad for the London Olympics . But it was only used in the 0-0 win against South Africa in the preliminary round.
