Kyōsuke Himuro

Kyōsuke Himuro ( Japanese 氷 室 京 介 , Himuro Kyōsuke ; real name Osamu Teranishi ; born October 7, 1960 in Takasaki ) is a Japanese singer.

He was a member of the legendary Japanese rock group Boøwy from 1981 to 1988 . In 1987 he began his solo career and soon left the band. Kyosuke Himuro's real name is Osamu Teranishi, but he is also known as Himurock . Today he lives in Los Angeles and Beverly Hills with his wife and three children .

The song Calling was used for the ending of Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children and the song Wild Romance was used as the ending for Van Helsing .

On August 22nd, 2004 he gave a concert called 21st Century Boowys VS HIMURO in the Tokyo Dome where he sang many old Boowy songs and in August 2006 he and Glay performed on the KYOSUKE HIMURO + GLAY 2006 tour. He then published the single Answer with Glay on August 2, 2006.
