Cypro-Minoan clay balls (CM I)

The Cypro-Minoan language is a previously incomprehensible language spoken in Bronze Age Cyprus , which was written with the Cypro-Minoan script , which has only been partially deciphered . It was possibly the forerunner of the Eeteokyprian language . As far as the texts indicate, Kypro-Minoan was an agglutinating language in which suffixes played an important role. The u. a. The relationship with Hurrian suggested by Emilia Masson cannot be proven with the current state of research.

However, the linguistic unity of the Cypro-Minoan inscriptions is not certain. The U. a. The area of distribution of the script as far as Ugarit leaves the possibility open that several languages were recorded in this script.
