Kyriakos Gouventas
Kyriakos Gouventas (* 1967 in Thessaloniki ) is a Greek violinist .
Gouventas studied violin at the state conservatory in his hometown. He works with the State Orchestra of Thessaloniki and various chamber music ensembles and is a member of the municipal ensemble for traditional music.
Gouventas often performs with representatives of traditional Greek music and is a member of the group Primavera en Salonico , led by Kostas Vomvolos . He has worked on more than sixty albums (including with Lizeta Kallimeri , Savina Yannatou and Kostas Pavlidis ) and played Rembetiko with the singer Maryo . He is also a founding member of the Estudiantina Folk Orchestra .
