Lázaro Ibarreche

Lázaro Ibarreche (* 1894 in Irún , Spain , † 1959 in Mexico City , Mexico ) was a Spanish football player in Mexico.

biography

When his parents emigrated, Lázaro Ibarreche came to Mexico as a toddler, where he spent the rest of his life.

He became a member of the Mexico City-based Club España , an association of Spanish immigrants in Mexico, in whose football team he whirled in the attack and was top scorer of the Primera Fuerza five times in a row between 1915/16 and 1919/20 . After 1920 he had passed the zenith of his career and had to sit on the bench frequently in the following three seasons before he ended his active career at the end of the 1922/23 season and founded a hardware chain with branches in Mexico City, Puebla and Torreón .

Lázaro Ibarreche died in Mexico City in 1959.
