Léonie Ferran

Léonie Ferran (born January 30, 1990 in Barcelonnette ) is a French ski mountaineer and multiple title holder.

Career

Ferran started ski mountaineering in 2003. With the participation in "L'Ubayenne" near Sauze , she contested her first competition and has been a member of the French national ski mountaineering team since 2007 . In 2007 she became French champion in vertical race and ski mountaineering.

A short film Haute Route Plus (The fast ladies of the Haute Route) shows her together with Monique Merill when they opened the new route "Haute Route Plus" from Chamonix via Zermatt to Alagna in just three days on May 4th, 2008.
