Lê Kính Tông

Lê Kính Tông ( Chinese  黎敬宗 , Pinyin Lí Jìngzōng , *  1588 ; † 1619 ), also known as Lê Duy Tân ( Chinese  黎維 新 , Pinyin Lí Wéixīn ) was the ruler of Vietnam from 1599 to 1619. He was a puppet king under Lord Trịnh . Trịnh Tùng had complete power over the army and politics. In 1619, Kính Tông allied with Trịnh Xuân to disempower Trịnh Tùng. The coup failed and the king was executed.
