The LHV Pank , German LHV Bank (original Estonian: Lõhmus, Haavel & Viisemann ), is a credit institute founded in 1999 in Estonia with headquarters in Tallinn .

The bank offers banking and financial services for private customers, medium-sized companies and institutional investors. The bank has branches in Tallinn, Tartu , Riga , Vilnius and Helsinki . LHV Pank employs 180 people and over 50,000 customers use the bank's services. LHV is also one of the largest brokers on the Baltic stock exchange and the largest intermediary for small Baltic investors in international markets.

Until the first opening of 10 ATMs (nine in Tallinn and one in Tartu) in August 2015, the LHV was completely cashless and only worked with electronic transfers and card payments. All machines allow both the withdrawal of money and cash deposits.

LHV Pank became a partner of the virtual program in Estonia called “e-Residence”. This program enables e-residents to open a bank account in Estonia and aims to attract investors.

history

The investment company AS Lõhmus, Haavel & Viisemann was founded on February 9, 1999. In 2000, the company set up today's finance portal lhvdirect.com and opened the first investment account. In 2002 the LHV pension fund was opened.

In 2006 the management consultancy division split off. The first publication of Investeeri magazine ! took place in 2007.

On May 6, 2009 the banking license was approved and the company was renamed AS LHV Pank .

Internet banking was introduced in 2011. Bank cards were also issued. The mobile banking app was introduced in 2013.
