Lübeck warehouse

The Lübeck warehouse is a listed granary in Demmin in the Mecklenburg Lake District in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania . Together with the Klänhammer Speicher and the Berliner Speicher , it forms the warehouse ensemble at Demminer Hafen and is one of the city's landmarks.

The warehouse was built around 1815, has a rectangular, slender half-timbered structure and has four storeys. The mansard roof is covered with plain tiles. The historical elevator technology and the dumping height markings for various types of grain have been preserved. In 1910 a single-storey extension was added to the west.

Since 2011 the Lübecker Speicher e. V. the building as an accessible monument. In addition to art exhibitions and readings, information, cabaret and music events are held in the Lübeck warehouse.
